    I’ve had the same model grinder for the last 7 or 8 years. It does the trick and allows you to adjust the grinding according to what you need the coffee for. However the grind is probably not uniform enough to make the serious coffee aficionado happy.

    Mads, I get the impression the serious afficionado would spend $200 on a good grinder! I need a junior version before I can go that far ;) . Good to hear it’s worked for you anyway.

    Yeah, I think you’re right. Except $200 probably isn’t enough. Along with that comes the coffee roaster which is even more expensive and so on. I get along with the bodum, roasting beans in the oven (or buying pre-roasted) and a small old espresso brewer for the stove. It doesn’t get as fancy as “the real deal”, but it’s good value for money and more than good enough for me.
