“How to Brew” is the best book for beginner-to-intermediate brewer. The only other book that’s at all worth buying is “New Brewing Lager Beer” by Greg Noonan, which is for advanced all-grain lager brewing.

Aside from that, almost all brewing books are utterly worthless except as historical curios, at best. Papazian’s “Complete Joy of Homebrewing” will actually suck information and experience out of your brain.

I might twitter our next brew with pictures as a public service. This weekend’s cryptic texts were probably of little use to the novice.
