“Prime and Spike” intranasal vaccine for COVID-19
This, IMO, is excellent progress — ‘Broad sarbecovirus protective mucosal immunity is generated by unadjuvanted intranasal spike boost in preclinical model.’ Because it’s mucosal immunity, it’ll have much better effectiveness in blocking transmission of COVID-19 — and it’s just a squirt up the nose.
